There is a new phishing scheme affecting Mastercard debit card users.  Members have received calls from an unknown phone number with an automated message. It states that their debit card has been flagged for out of state purchases.  It then asks you to press 1 or call the Mastercard phone center to proceed.  The automated message asks you to enter your debit card number, expiration date, pin number and 3 digit CVV code.

Please remember, Peninsula Federal Credit Union would never call and ask for the above listed information.  If you have received this call or any similar call and given out your debit card information, please contact the credit union immediately.

We value your privacy, are committed to keeping your information safe and to be your trusted financial partner.
